Keep your eyes on the specials after the book is released. As with all of these older titles we're still catching up on, we usually end up having copies we can sell, but won't know we do until the book actually gets here and we ship the orders currently placed.CD Email: [email protected]

Yeah, but my problem is I'm broke lol. I've bought so many books over the past couple months from CD, that I just don't have the funds for this one. And I'm going to have to still somehow buy the 8th DT book from Grant in Febuary. I think I have to stop with all the King stuff; just costs too much.Originally posted by Dan Hocker View PostKeep your eyes on the specials after the book is released. Volume 1 fits perfectly in the White slipcase and is a little loose in the Black slipcase.
Volume 2 fits a little snugly in the Black slipcase, which if I remember correctly is the largest we have (other than IT).CD Email: [email protected]

I have a white slipcase coming, so I can check that out then; maybe you could post a pic of Vol 2 in a black slipcase--I'm kinda leery about books that fit snugly in a slipcase."I'm a vegan. "

I can if you like. It's not too snugly, it's just snugly enough that you probably couldn't put on of those DJ covers on it and still put it in the case.Originally posted by srboone View PostI have a white slipcase coming, so I can check that out then; maybe you could post a pic of Vol 2 in a black slipcase--I'm kinda leery about books that fit snugly in a slipcase.CD Email: [email protected]

I still want these even the non-signed ones but I have to have slipcases. Brian or Dan, is CD have any plans to produce slipcases for even the "regular" limiteds of books anytime soon or are those days over? I really wish publishers would start doing that again!!! I really don't like limited editions without a slipcase, I don't at all.
And I don't know where to put this so I'll just put it here, even though there may be a thread about it: I don't see any information on the 40th Anniversiary of The Exorcist I bought sometime ago from CD on the Production Page. Anyone know the status of that one?

I guess not. I'll wait to see the books before I make a decision. I just keep looking at that hideous green slipcase from subterranean press (sp is no longer a proper noun in my lexicon anymore) that was too tight for Zodiac. Just thinking about it puts me in a foul mood.Originally posted by Dan Hocker View PostI can if you like. The retail price would have to go up by $18 to $22 per book to do that. If we were sure 750 people would buy Kin at $60, or Pure at $80, we would gladly issue the books with slipcases, but our experience has shown that our retail prices, in this economy, are pretty much going to stay where they are and can't be raised without driving away a lot of customers.Originally posted by theenormityofitall View PostI still want these even the non-signed ones but I have to have slipcases.
