OK GUYS, this book has to happen and be announced so I can buy the hell out of it.
I just started reading UNBURY CAROL and I do not want to stop. I'm doubling down on my call as Malerman being the next King. Malerman has King's mighty talent as a master storyteller. It's the same gift that has allowed me to forgive instances where King filled some pages with clunky dialogue, eye-rolling tantrums, or crash-landing endings. Because that hook keeps pulling and you love spending time in the world that King has created and you grow to plan as many trips there as possible. I feel that same effect with Malerman. I don't know where he's going with UNBURY CAROL. But I know I can't wait to find out.
Maybe I'll be able to define it a little better, but for now--there's just something about a King story that I cannot turn away from. Malerman has that something too.

I could very well be the only one who feels this way. I am dying to hear what others think of GOBLIN. Especially in this forum.
