Brian, do you know when Salem's Lot will go on sale? I was out-of-communication and missed the special order window.

I'm thinking December at this stage, but we have to see when our printer finishes with Carrie.

Does anybody else think that the artwork for Salem's Lot looks like the work of Bernie Wrightson?

Brian mentioned previously, that CD have never worked before with the artist selected to illustrate Salem's Lot. Bernie Wrightson worked on both From A Buick 8 and Dark Forces, so it definitely isn't him.

Personally, I thought the artwork on Salem's Lot is reminiscent of David Palumbo. He did the artwork for the Centipede Press edition of The Anubis Gates. His particular style of oil painting with the emphasis on light is very similar to that on Salem's Lot, especially the picture of Father Callahan holding the crucifix.

Check out my collection thread for examples of David Palumbo's artwork on my copy of The Anubis Gates. He is very talented and it would be a good choice for CD to select him as the artist for Salem's Lot.
