Interesting idea. "Look at the absolute lack of anything special about this dead tree! From the paper quality to the page design to the mass produced binding, this book screams 'FOLD MY PAGES BECAUSE WHO HAS TIME FOR A BOOKMARK! USE ME AS A COASTER FOR THE MARGARITA YOU'RE DRINKING POOLSIDE! MAKE NOTES IN MY DIRTY DIRTY MARGINS!'"

Given that the pre-order was back in 2010 and the last update was a year (or more?...year not given) ago, is it safe to assume that this one just isn't going to happen? I keep hoping a new Partridge will see the light of day, but I get the feeling I'm hoping against hope...

Norman Partridge is still committed to finishing the book, as far as the last time we spoke.

Since everyone's teeing up, I was hoping that we'd get more info on Sleeping Beauties with the most recent AUG 15 update. Any news?

No, unfortunately we're still waiting for time on the press at one of our other printers. We WILL send an email when that gets rolling!

Thanks for the update, Brian. I can't wait for Sleeping Beauties, Night Shift, and then THE STAND.

                          Long-time customer, first-time poster....

Last year, I signed up for a couple of clubs, Book Club #8 and the Collectors Club (not sure which number). Since then, I've received some books that I didn't order individually, but I don't know which book ties to which club. I was hoping y'all could help me identify the books and their clubs. Here's what I've received:

                          October Dreams II
                          Vacation
                          The Night Shop
                          Nothing Lasting
                          Dog Days o' Summer

My guess is that October Dreams II was the first of the Collectors Club (since I've found the titles of the next two in the series, and they're also anthologies), and the rest are from Book Club #8. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

                          Thanks!

I can answer all of these on Tuesday when I'm back in the office. That said I don't remember October Dream II being part of a club.

I have both a trade October Dreams II and a Limited. Either it was included in a club or grab bag or I ordered two copies. I would like to think I did not order two copies but I can't guarantee it.

We certainly could have used it in a grab bag, that wouldn't shock me at all.
