Is there any news on the First Forthcoming Grab Bag 2014, and the remaining books from CDCC4?

No new news on the Grab Bag, other than all of the books should be out next year (finally!). For the CDCC 4 exclusive books, the author of one book just turned in about 200 pages of corrections/updates to his text, so that book should be ready for next year as well, and the author of the other book finally turned in the final story we needed, so his book should also be ready next year.

Short version: lots of books coming in 2016!

My copy arrived today. It is a huge book.....and a beautiful looking one as well. Congratulations on finally mocking this off the list of books that have been around for a few years. It was definitely worth the wait.

I actually emailed Mindy about that last week. It sounded like CD is still waiting to get their copies from SubPress.

I figured out what happened. Mindy's preorder sheet wasn't updated, so she thought these weren't in yet, but they actually shipped a while ago.

Dan went to track some orders to be sure and he's finding an entire day's worth of packages that went out the dock door and vanished including some copies of Voice of the Fire.

Bill managed to find us some replacement copies, and we'll ship them out the day they arrive.

Yes, I think all of the preorders have shipped, but you can email Mindy at [email protected] to be sure about your order. It's possible you just didn't receive the shipping confirmation email or there might be a problem with the order, so it's no problem for her to check on things for you. Thanks for the order!

I'm checking in with Mindy as well about The Consultant and Running with the Demon lettered copies (also following up on Voice of the Fire limited). Is it still the case with the new book design that CD receives lettered editions in the warehouse about the same time as the limiteds?

Yep, right around the same time. Dan can let you know if these have shipped because there are a few extra steps to protect the gilding and the such in our warehouse, so I think he does them after the trade editions/Limited Editions are out of the way and he can clear the workspace.

Neither of these lettered editions have shipped yet. There was a problem with the orders for the Running with the Demon lettereds that we had to fix so I couldn't ship them at the time and I have been tied down with shipping other things since the problem was resolved. We'll be shipping those shortly. None of The Consultants have shipped yet. These arrived while I was in the middle of shipping Prince of Stories and we had to squeeze the distributor orders out the door real quick before the orders canceled. Things are going to be slow for the foreseeable future. We're short handed in the warehouse again and I have 9 of our books to ship, plus some lettered editions, and 6 other publishers books.

The Consultant lettereds will ship with the Trade's and Limiteds, hopefully starting towards the end of this week / early next week.
