We'll have another update from the printer this week and we'll email those who preordered the book as soon as we can. Thanks for your patience and sorry for the extra wait!

Yep, everything is still on track to have the Gift Edition books, Limited Edition books, Gift Edition slipcases, and Limited Edition traycases by the end of the month. The Lettered Edition books will be done in late October and we're still working on the box design for the Lettered Edition. We've been through a couple of prototypes so far and we're hoping the next one is the one.

    I have a few questions.....

So do all CD produced Stephen King S/L editions come with the option of purchasing a remarque?

How are remarques purchased? I have never seen an announcement for a remarque on this forum. Is this option hidden from the general public and only purchasers of the book are sent an email informing them that they can a purchase a remarque?

I would love to have a remarqued Stephen King book and obviously need to know for the future, as I don't want to miss out.
Just the recent ones! And yep, we only email those who bought the book since they're the only ones with a copy to be remarqued at that time. But a lot of artists will remarque a copy you buy on the second-hand market. We offer the option, when possible, to those who preordered because when we send the books to and from the artist, which means we're responsible for any damage that occurs in transit, etc, so we can guarantee you get a perfect copy. Anything that happens during shipping between an individual collector and the artist after publication is up to the collector/artist to figure out or for the collector and USPS/UPS to deal with.

Also, TWO of our color pieces will be "fold outs" if things go as we planned. We've never done one of these before that I know of, so we're working out the logistics with the printer.

The full version of "Before the Play" was published in the December 1982 issue of Whispers (#17-18). As far as I know, that was the only edition.

I've heard there will be a book next year that contains the FULL version of "Before The Play" -- that issue of TV Guide only has some of it -- but that new book ould just be a rumor at this point.

Should have been more clear when I wrote this. I know about the artist editions. I was asking Terri about the books she was talking about. The overlook SK books remarqued by GC. That series. One day I will spring for an artist edition but not at this time. Getting the signed and trade and gift edition of this one is fine for now.

Is that the books that are artist specials. Or something else that I might have missed?
