I still haven't read World War Z. But I've heard great things... (That said, I hated the movie. But I hear the book and movie have nothing in common but the title!)
Survival Guide is all ready to go now, but we just realized that Max never returned the signed signature sheets for WWZ, so we need to check in with him about that. I'm still thinking first half of this year for both, hopefully!

Have fun paying for one now though. And if only I could afford the shipping on a slipcase...

Thanks Brian, I was always a bit disappointed that the S/L edition of Joyland did not come with a slipcase. For me a S/L must have a slipcase / traycase to protect the book and to make it stand out from a standard trade hardback edition.

Now I can look at getting the S/L edition of Joyland, knowing that there will be slipcases available for it.

So if you're looking at a book and wondering why it doesn't have a slipcase, add $20 to the retail price because that's what the retail price would be with a slipcase -- and that is a price we didn't think enough people would want to pay.

We don't NEED books to sell out pre-publication, but we also don't want them sitting here two or three years down the road if that can be helped because we're paying inventory taxes on them every year they sit. So we have to find the middle ground on the pricing to make sure that happens.

Fair enough, I don't mind saving some money, but I hope slipcases become available for them.

I think both are getting into good shape and will be ready for the printer this fall.

No idea. We won't actually know that until we have the books.
