Is the timing known yet for new issues of Grave Tales?

I wish I had a solid answer, but we're still grinding forward on these. I really think at least three of them will be out next year, but until I have the rest of the art, I'm just stabbing in the dark at dates.

I think this is a sensitive subject but I thought I would ask. Are there plans to bring back Grave Tales? Joe Hills Tales from the Darkside got me missing these.

We've actually had 3 to 4 issues in the works for four years now, but the artists have proven to be, um, difficult to work with. We were working with an agent who brought so some "hot new talent" who then missed their deadlines by about a year, turning in just a few pages in the wrong style, etc. So last year, we ate those costs and reassigned all of the scripts/stories to our regular artists to work on in between their other projects. I'm really, really hoping to have 3 issues out this year. The 4th will almost certainly not happen this year because we're still waiting on a script.

I hate to ask a redundant question...

but every now and then I think of "Grave Tales" and find myself wondering what it's up to. I used a coupon a while, while back and ordered four issues (if memory serves); the first one I got was #7. No offense, but if I knew they would take this long, I would have used my coupon differently.

Just a heads-up, Grave Tales #7 (paper edition) has been sent to the printer and will ship in May. The signed Limited Edition hardcover will be sent to our other printer later this month and should ship around the end of May.

The major Grave Tales announcement, about the big changes we have in store, is planned for this summer.

Yeah, everything is just about set for the Grave Tales 7 regular edition and Signed Limited Edition, so it will definitely be published in 2013.

And then we have some big changes coming for Grave Tales that I think our readers are really going to like. That probably won't be announced until summer.

It has been over a year since a new issue came out maybe longer. We are talking about the past issues. CD is still planning on more just been delayed. Have faith GT will be back on track soon. The book production is running great and the magazine is back on track. These things take time.
