Been loving this one so far! Its awesome that it starts with one of my favorite stories. Even though this has been my third or fourth re-read, i still find it creepy!

Dark, atmospheric and punctuated brilliantly by Chadbourne's illustrations,I strongly recommend, Incidentally, the textured gray slipcase issued with The Painted Darkness fits this volume as well although it is a bit of a looser fit (Mylar on the dust jacket makes it a bit more snug), Can't wait for more, keep up the great work Brian!

Thank you! (And nice tip on the slipcase, I'll have to check that out!)
I received my copy earlier this week, and I just wanted to say thank you Brian for the uncomfortable, irking feelings I got reading your book at 2 in the morning, lol
I really appreciate it, hehe

Thank you for reading it at 2 in the morning! I think that makes the stories better.
Started this one just after the New Year. Following the advice of Michael Kyorta (great introduction, BTW), I went down to my basement study, turned on no lights, changed my desktop to solid white, maxed out the screen brightness, turned on the space heater, and shut the door to the basement. The first time the computer went dark, it was 2/3 of the way through story #1. Anyone who has read this book knows what was happening in the story. My already tingling spine went into overdrive and I dropped my book into a dark corner under my desk and had to find it by groping (good thing it was an ARC). The computer went dark again once ,sometimees twice per story. Great night of reading!
Sadly, due to finances and other comittments, I missed this one. But a great creepy read!

Awesome idea, sounds like a great experience! The first story has to be my favorite out of all of Brian's stories. No better way to kick off a collection than with "What They Left Behind"!
I'm still browsing through my emails to see if I have this on order anywhere, which I could have sworn that I did...
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!! Was just browsing the CD store and I stumbled upon something... Haven't seen an announcement for this anywhere yet, so maybe it was intended for the page to be visible... but Brian's Blue November Storms in PB out in Jan 2013!!!
