This is a situation where there's no way to really make everyone happy. It's really unfortunate and there's not really anything he could've done about it either. You'd have to be really really lucky to catch something like that ahead of time.

Posting a comment there can feel like you're being air dropped into the center of a pack of very hungry hyenas.Originally posted by TacomaDiver View PostI haven’t seen the news but I had an error copy that included two artist signature pages, and two title/copyright pages that I sent back to Paul a little over a week and a half ago. So I’m totally unsure if my copy had other strange page issues. That’s actually why I elected for Paul to fix it so I wouldn’t have a less than perfect copy.Originally posted by jeffingoff View PostYou weren't interested in keeping it as a one-of-a kind? I might have considered that. I would have just maybe asked Paul to send an errata sheet specifying that this was unique to your copy.Originally posted by Dan Hocker View PostIn this situation I don't really think there's anything he can do other than offer a full refund for a return. I have a CD book that has a double limitation page but I'm ok with it. I like the uniqueness that is adds. If I had a S/L Misery, I believe I'd feel the same way and leave it as is.
If folks end up returning copies, I'd buy a returned copy in a heartbeat.

1. I wanted a perfect copy

I also had an edition that was numbered in blue.
I kind of want my copy back.
The blue number variant would be really cool to own also!
