Totally understand you not wanting to spoil anything, John. For what it's worth I found your comments encouraging, and thank you for sharing.

What you've shared with us is enough to pique my interest.

Can't wait to get my hands on this one. The ending sounds interesting.

That's my second favorite King cover after the U.S. hardback of Pet Semetary!

Thanks for your thoughts on Revival, John. Combining them from the last two posts makes for a great summary. Post over in Book Reviews if you're so inclined - this is totally legit and might help some folks pick it up.

I did enjoy the book as a whole; it was just the ending that really hit me. Most of the characters I liked (King is especially prone to writing sympathetic characters). There are a few references to other King works, just as he is also prone to do.

John if you send it to me I'll have it back to you by the time you want to re-read.

I still have that! My favorite King collection, one that inspired me into my own writing career. I owe SK and that book so much.

Plain is ok but it really does look too much like The Stand. I also find lightening bolts kind of tacky on books and other kinds of covers. It screams lazy and hey look at this when It doesn't need that.

Interesting. I actually like the cover, a bit plain but I don't really think there's anything wrong with that.

Can't say the book will suck, but the cover sure does.

Hans took some shit over posting the similarities between those covers. It was ridiculous. People bitching saying not to judge a book by its cover which he wasn't doing just stating what everyone else here is saying. One guy got really made and said he wouldn't follow his page anymore. Some people are nuts. Also, I hate this cover as well. Lets hope we get a good signed limited(Or even Gift ed) out there from a publisher who cares *Cough*CD*Cough**.
