The shift didn't cause any problem for me. The second part was definitely more conventional than the first, but I read the whole as a sort -of sequel to "Children of the Corn".

Yep, part of our problem with it. The two parts are very different tonally.

Funny thing is, I still have to read Part 2.

It doesn't get anywhere near good until the end. You have to finish it!!!!!!! Its disturbingly AWESOME!

I didn't know what I toque was until I was like 15. Its always been a ski cap or stocking cap. Personally its just a hat no matter what kind it is. Eh on the other hand I'm sure I saw 40-50 times a day.lol.

Having grandparents who lived in Mass. and being born there.I heard ca for car all the time.Groing up in a small NY town on the border of Canada and on the edge of Lake Champlain we said hows it going ay more then ca and ba.We also wore our touques in the winter not hats.Thanks Canada.

Well ya never know. He is in NY. Also, Google can't even tell me what that word means. Makes me feel better about having to google it in the first place. lol

It's weird that google didn't come up with it either way. I typed almost gibberish one day while typing on my blackberry and still got the right results.
