Of all of the books you've written, which is your favorite? Which is most indicative of your style, the one you'd hand to somebody new to your work? I've read many of your short stories, but haven't read one of your novels yet. I grew up on King and Straub, and have read all of Ketchum, as well. Thanks.
Thanks Tim. Looks like the next book will be the first in a new series, tangentially connected to the Timmy Quinn series. It's called NIGHT FALLS ON MEMORY LANE.

Hi Tim: There was some progress made on GUESTS, but I had to break away from it to do some design work (book covers). In addition I was, as you so correctly guessed, inundated with other ideas. This always happens, but usually I can ignore them. In this case, I might not, as this idea would be a sequel to KIN.
And then there are the stories due to editors that need to be done before I can fully commit myself to a long project.
My mind is not an organized place.
Thanks for the update. I would imagine, if all is going well, that an authors mind can get pretty cluttered with ideas. Good luck with putting those thoughts on paper and knocking out some deadlines.
Have you made any progress on "Guests" or is has another idea intruded? Just curious.

I haven't decided yet, Tim. There are a number of ideas vying for attention. First off I have to get some short stories and novellas done that I owe to editors. After that, we'll see, but GUESTS, set in a dying hotel, is the current favorite.

So now that Nemesis is done what's next for Mr. Burke?
