is the main problem I've had with new films for the last several years now.

Hmmm....It was just okay. I actually fell asleep twice and then finsihed watching it this morning.

Yeah, I rented it about two months ago to give it another shot. I like what they tried to do, and appreciate the little touches, but the whole thing still feels like a wasted opportunity.

Exactly! It was almost really good but it didn't quite make it. I actually did enjoy the CGI on this one but it lacked everywhere else.

Yeah, the CGI wasn't the worst I've seen, but I still wish they'd kept it practical.
