    Yeah, it really creeped me out. Plus I see fake profiles on FB all the time, primarily used either to help an author/artist promote his/herself, or to troll and bully people. After reading the article about the webcam guy, I decided to do my own take on the whole fake profile thing.

    Well, if you do decide to let her read it, you can preface it by telling her that I was inspired to write it by a news article about a forty-year old disabled man in Mexico who figured out how to hack people's webcams and watch them through them. He would then email them and refer to the things he had seen them do. It was creepy, and hard to believe it anything but an urban legend.
