The End of the World As We Know It

Thought some folks may want to keep this on their radar. I'm not 100% sold on this but sounds interesting. No actual Keene work in this antho but thought it was relevant.

You are welcome. I will probably check it out as I'm a sucker for end of the World stuff.

I was super excited when I first heard this announcement, but after reading their last shared-world anthology, Joe Lansdale's "The Drive-In Multiplex", my enthusiasm has waned a bit. I'm sure that I'll still grab it, as I love the Stand and am sure that the line-up of authors will be killer; however, I said the same exact thing about "The Drive-In Multiplex" anthology, and that one was (mostly) a stinker.

Brian Keene revealed the TOC and Author/story names in his newsletter today. This sounds like it's going to be massive, page-wise. Still not sure if I'm really interested in STAND-related stories featuring new (I assume) characters, but what King fan is going to pass on this? I'll give it a day in court.

Yeah, that author line-up/TOC is killer! I'm sure that I'll snag a copy at some point. Just hope that it's better than their recent Drive-In anthology as that one was hugely disappointing in terms of the story quality/variety.
