New issue of the magazine is finally on the way. We received our first copies here at the office this morning, which means it should probably start showing up for subscribers soon. Also apparently we never officially announced the new issue, so we'll be doing that soon as well.CD Email: [email protected]

Great news! The magazine is still such an awesome reading experience. I hope the magazine gets back on to a regular schedule. Not a knock against anybody. I just love the magazine and regular doses makes me happy!Originally posted by Dan Hocker View PostNew issue of the magazine is finally on the way. My copy arrived today as well...really looking forward to the Robert Bloch article. I noticed the reviews were gone as well, though I suppose given the untimeliness (sp?) of the publication it makes a certain amount of sense. It still has plenty of non-fiction in it, and though I kind of hate to admit it as I tend to send in a story myself each time the submission gates open (and got kind of close last time), that's where my interest lay with CD Mag these days. I have so much narrative fiction just waiting to be read in my TBR pile(s) that I look at CD Mag as kind of a fun respite from fiction. That said, I always read at least the first couple paragraphs of each story to see if there's anything in there that just has to be read.Originally posted by dannyboy121070 View PostMy copy arrived today, which shocked me...I'm usually among the last to receive their copy. I'm still really bummed that the magazine has jettisoned the review section, though.Twitter: https://twitter.com/ron_clinton

Yeah, mine was pretty much destroyed in the envelope. I used to collect the magazine, but the last few issues have been so beat to hell that I just gave up on that.Originally posted by Brian861 View PostReceived mine as well. Fold up in the mailbox

I had most of them as well until I had to liquidated my collection some years back. I think this one is the last of a subscription.Originally posted by dannyboy121070 View PostYeah, mine was pretty much destroyed in the envelope. I recently learned that CD published 10 unique copies of the hardcover for CD #50. All 10 unique copies have a handwritten story on the endpapers. Two of them are on eBay – one has a bonus story by Ray Garton and one has a bonus story by Brian James Freeman. Does anyone here have one of these unique copies of CD #50? I’m curious as to who the other 8 authors were who wrote handwritten stories on the endpapers.
Here is the Garton link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-Cemete...-/111824804279
And here is the Freeman link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Cemetery-Da...0/323869042904

Hey Brian861 - you definitely need this one. Surprised you don't already have it.Originally posted by kshane View PostI recently learned that CD published 10 unique copies of the hardcover for CD #50. I have an update on those 10 copies of CD #50. Above are the ebay listing for Garton's "Dreams" and Freeman's "The Plague of Sadness". The seller who is selling the Garton handwritten story "Dreams" has two more of these handwritten hardcovers of CD #50. He also has Ray Garton's handwritten story "Lisa's New Friend" and Kealan Patrick Burke's handwritten story "Curtains". So that leaves six other handwritten stories for CD #50.
I was wondering if Dan has a record of the other authors/stories that were handwritten for CD #50?

Nope. The products for these were in our system in a more generic way. I didn't work here when these were produced either. Brian might remember, but it's probably unlikely.Originally posted by kshane View PostI have an update on those 10 copies of CD #50. Edit: I couldn't even look up who purchased these either if I wanted to. Order are too old and are no longer in our system.CD Email: [email protected]
