You know the INTERESTING article was the one at vulture.com.

In that one, The wrong version of The Stand was ranked waaaaaay too high (the original wasn't even mentioned.) Wizard and glass was too high, The Shining too low and the list goes on. But the Aussie article made some good points as to what should have been in there...

That was an awesome read, Grant but I disagree with the rankings. I still feel that Salems Lot is the best thing he ever wrote as King and The Long Walk was the most amazing idea I'd ever read as Bachman. And why didn't they have "Rose Red" in the ranking or "My Pretty Pony" or "Storm of the Century"?

I actually thought the list matched my opinions to a large degree. I'd put "Christine" a bit higher, "The Long Walk" way higher, and "Thinner" and "Roadwork" lower. I'd also have Salem's lot up at #3. Aside from "On Writing" the top 10 belong in the top 10, even if in a different order. Also I'd have switched "The Drawing of the Three" with "The Gunslinger". DT2 is better.

"Rose Red" and "Storm of the Century" were screenplays and I guess they didn't count them because of that. And "My Pretty Pony" was a short story (granted with its own special edition) collected in "Nightmares and Dreamscapes".

Pretty good. I actually started on my latest story last night, but only got a couple paragraphs done before bedtime routine for the little guy and dog. Then fell asleep.

I'm starting to think Grant should have started a new thread with the link to the entire Vulture.com article. We could get a lot of discussion on this ranking of King topic.

Anything's possible. I've already said all I need to on the subject though. I'm fired up over the Dark Shadows remake now. We should leave the good old stuff alone and stop trying to reinvent something that turns it into a (is anti-homage a word?) Parody of its former self.

I use Imageshack in posting my pictures.
This always used to be free, but now they told me I'm hundreds of photos over the limit and i have to upgrade.
I did, for three months, but I guess this will continue to happen.
If I don't update, they'll delete many of the old images.
    AAAAAHHHHHHHHH.......

    What should I do??

I'd find a new image host. I've heard decent things about photobucket.

You could also always host your own if you where feeling industrious and didn't mind spending a little bit of money.

Most of my pics are throwaways (I feel). I put them on my computer and delete them, so I only use URL for a pic I find online. Though I have a camera card filled with pics.

I do have a photobucket account that has pics of screen shots I took with FRAPS on my last computer of my various games of Titan Quest.

I've just been saving them on my computer, then uploading from the hard drive.

Same as you Terry, take the pix with my little camera, save to a SD card, fiddle with them using MS then upload them to CD (then move the pix from the card to my C drive library)

Same here as Grant and Terry. I take pictures, then put them on my laptop. I use windows picture manager and convert them from 5mb to about 300 kb. And then upload to the forum. Takes about 3 clicks and i find it much easier than image hosting online.

I upload everything to my desktop, upload it on facebook and/or here then delete them. As long as I have my facebook I'm happy.

I have a guest in my hotel named Sears James tonight and the bright morning sky just got really really dark all of a sudden. A 10% chance of rain suddenly became 70%, I kid you not. I need to get out of here before the Bates boys show up.

You lost me, Pete. Ghost Story by Peter Straub; one of the few things that can freak me out.

But I'm home now, I feel better.
