    Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker series

I know they are considered humor, but is there a "too young" age for these books? Looking for something new to read with the kids.

I think pre-teens and younger teens wouldn't get a lot of it, just because so much of the humor is a rip on adult life, jobs, etc.

If you're looking for SF, I'd recommend the Heinlein juveniles - https://www.fantasticfiction.com/h/r...ins-juveniles/

I can't even count how many times I read Have Spacesuit, will Travel, starting when I was ten years old.
