So I noticed that lately more and more rumors have been surfacing about this movie. Here's the latest:

I hope if this happens he doesn't try to pack it all into one movie. That would be horrid.

I just wish they'd leave this book alone.
(But that's what I said when Peter Jackson tacked The Lord of the Rings, and that's one of my favorite trilogies ever.)
Who knows, this might even turn out righ. Doubt it, though..

Well, we live in an age of books spead out over multiple movies, so I don't think you'll have to wory about it being crammed into one movie. But I' with Siep. Just leave it alone....

By all means, no more movies/TV series of The Stand. On the other hand, Affleck was the bomb in Phantoms, yo!

It seems it's moving slowly, but it's moving.

I wouldn't say I totally enjoyed the TV adaptation of some these books, but they were okay. Not great, but okay. I would be interested in seeing something like this, to see if they could improve. My fear is it ends up like the Bag of Bones sort of rendition trying to pack everything into a small time frame. I see they also have or are redoing IT. That could be cool, too.

At least they're looking at a multi-movie adaptation of The Stand. And the TV version WAS the best TV adaption of a king book.

I will agree with you there. Are they planning a multi-movie deal with IT, too? Do you know?
