Nice ... I have just realised that I now have both of my holy grails on here :-) next I would love a US 1st of Salem's Lot!
Signed/1st Gunslinger or Signed/1st The Shining.
My fingers are crossed for you!!
So are mine!

I would really like a lettered edition of The Passage but can't find any for sale. Not that I could afford it right now anyway. Also, firsts of the LOTR, Chronicles of Narnia, and Lord of the Flies.

Was just thinking what I would like to add to my collection today. Something that I could theoretically afford if I saved up a bit...
The Talisman and Black House slipcase set from Donald M. Grant
HC's of Song of Ice and Fire (books 2-4)
HC's of The Dark Tower series (don't have to 1st's, just hardcovers)
Hmm... I've always wanted an honest to goodness Stephen King autograph. In a book.
1st UK/signed lord of the rings
the stand coffin version
three musketeers and the count of montecristo, the whole 1st edition book or one episode (both published weekly on newspapers(?) IIRC), but that would be abysmally expensive![]()
We need pictures when you get it!
"Dance until your feet hurt. Sing until your lungs hurt. Act until you're William Hurt." - Phil Dunphy ("Modern Family"), from Phil's-osophy.
Nice going! Can't wait to see which one it is!

Any of those you listed is fantastic! Congrats on taking off one from your list! (not that it helps any, two usually show up to fill the vacancy)
1st/1st jacketed harcover "The Master & Margarita" with the winking cat that is sitting and holding a gun.
1st/1st jacketed hardcover "Logan's Run"
The dust jackets in both cases are the reason I want them. I collect the illustrator... go figure.
For me it probably would be a signed first edition of Robert Heinlein's "Stranger in a Strange Land"
I read this book when I was 13 and it altered my perspective on the world around me
