    Good palce to start...

I am not familiar with any of Ronald Kelly's works. What would be a good place to start? I ordered After the Burn from Dark Discoveries and am waiting for the "Essential" series pre-orders, but right this instant, what would be good to go pick up? Thanks in advance.

You can't go wrong with the 2 CD titles. If you want stories, get Midnight Grindings. If you want a novel, grab Hell Hollow.

Kelly has 3 short story collections: Midnight Grinding from CD, Cumberland Furnace from Bad Moon Books and The Sick Stuff from Thunderstorm Books. Then he has the 8 novels forthcoming from Thunderstorm--they were all published by Zebra between 1990 and 1996 (some under different titles--see Zebra thread http://forum.cemeterydance.com/showt...s-from-the-90s). Then he has his first western Timber Gray from Bad Moon.

And of couse there's Hell Hollow from CD.

I started with MG. I've never looked back.

        Chris,
If you don't have any Kelly right now, on his website, he has a link to a new short story called "Devourer" and a story called Midnight Tide" in the sample of Author's Work section.
