    Mile 81

Just got an e-mail from Lilja with a link to Simon & Schuster's website announcing a new novel by Stephen King available on Sept. 1. It's called Mile 81 and is listed as 80 pages long in ebook format for Kindle, Nook, iPad and more.

Has anyone else heard about this project before now? There is no description of the story.
"Dance until your feet hurt. Sing until your lungs hurt. Act until you're William Hurt." - Phil Dunphy ("Modern Family"), from Phil's-osophy.

I'm sure someone will throw Mile 81 and UR together with the story he wrote for the Atlantic Quarterly the title of which escapes me something like, Herman Wouk is Not Dead and maybe a few others to make it a collection of shorts "never before assembled in paper format" so when it becomes a real Hardback bound book... THEN I"ll buy it.

I absolutely hate these Kindle/ebook exclusives. I had to wait until UR came out as an audio book before "reading" it. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get it in some other format.

There's a free Kindle app available from Amazon that you can download to your PC that allows you to read ebooks:

I've downloaded it and it seems to work great!

The description reminds me a little bit of From a Buick 8.
"Dance until your feet hurt. Sing until your lungs hurt. Act until you're William Hurt." - Phil Dunphy ("Modern Family"), from Phil's-osophy.

Hmm, I am interested in this, not sure yet if I'll get it or not though. When I saw the name of the story I could of swore that it sounded familiar for some reason. Turns out I was right, it's mentioned briefly in Dreamcatcher according to the newest News From the Deadzone
