So you're saying you would rate it 5 out of 11, right, which would be something like, 2.2/4?

LOL, ya sorry about that Craig. I really like the "1 higher...ours goes up to 11" concept.

Oh, and ya, it would translate to about that sort of rating. I didn't think it was a horrible movie, but I also thought the whole movie could have been summed up in a half an hour. There was a little too much fluff, that had me laughing at points (not that the situation is laughable at all).

      Oops!
Ha. Got'cha. Love Spinal Tap, too. Not watched it for an age. Just some of the lines, "lick my love-pump" and "shit-sandwich", yes, classic.

Ken - I hear you. Before watching 127 Hours, i wondered how they were going to fill 90 mins of a guy stuck in a crack, but then I realised porn is essentially that and some of those movies go to 2 hours....

      *clears throat*

But yes, at the hour stage I was yelling at him to cut the goddam hand off so i could go to bed. Let's be honest here, that's why EVERYONE watches that movie. Still, a decent story that makes you wonder how much the body and mind can endure.

Do you mean Battle: Los Angeles or Battle of Los Angeles? Different movies, with the latter one (which you mentioned) being a cheap rip off by a company that does that with many, many movies

Battle: Los Angeles 9 1/2 out of 11 (would have been 9 out of 10, but going to stick with the 11 point scale, lol)

I wasn't sure if I'd like it or not when I heard about it since it was an action movie rated PG-13, but decided to go ahead and watch it since I heard good things from people who have similar tastes as I do.

                Priceless!

Watched Small Town Murder Songs last night. Still don't know what to rate it. I saw the trailer and it looked interesting. The music in the movie was a good fit, really set the mood. The movie itself is what I like to call "one of them festival flicks", as in ambitious, artsy, and the like.

                I'm gonna go with 3.5/5.

Watched Buried last night, aka 90 minutes with Ryan Reynolds in a box. Mixed feelings, especially about the ending and a few details in the movie. 2.5/5 (4.5/11)

I saw that one a few months, liked it a lot. Wouldn't watch if you get claustrophobic though, lol. I'd probably give it 7.5 or 8/11 myself. Definitely wasn't perfect, but still good. I liked the ending, but then again, I like at least some movies to have an ending that isn't a typical Hollywood ending

Is anyone else getting sick of Ryan Reynolds? Anyways, we tend to watch a lot of kid friendly movies...

You Again - Over done theme, but slightly entertaining - 5/11
Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2 - Funnier than I thought this would be - 8/11
Rango - Up there with Kung Fu Panda 2 - 10.5/11

I haven't seen Rango yet, but my wife and I ended up walking out of Kung Fu Panda 2. We were both so bored we couldn't stick it out. And I was really disappointed, but I think Kung Fu Panda is easily the best animated movie Dreamworks has done.

Cedar Rapids. Very, laugh out loud funny. 4.5 stars.

The Way Back, not nearly as funny as Cedar Rapids, but an excellent film nonetheless. 5 stars.
