I wish I had stayed home. This is without a doubt the most boring movie I've seen in a long, long time. Just awful.

Transformers: Dark of the moon--absolutely dreadful. I told ya Siep; I honestly thought you'd like it tho!

Larry Crowne: 2/5. A movie about a nice guy, surrounded by nice people, who is encouraged to do nice things, with a happy ending. Could have been worse, I guess.

Green Lantern: 2/5. 2 stars for a terrificly-rendered villian and a hammy Peter Saarsgard. Sequel: Yellow Lantern?

Kung-Fu Panda 2: 4.5/5. Absolutely terrific. Even better when seen at a matinee with a bunch of kids who a cheered the heroics and booed the villian!

Agreed. One of 2 films up for Best Picture last year that I would label a masterpiece (the other being Inception).

13 Assassins. 5/5. The final battle alone, even if the rest of the film were crap, would rank it 5/5. But it's a great film, from beginning to end, from a wildly unpredictable and uneven director. Even a broken clock...

I heard it compared to Inception, but I think it was much better. For me Inception, while having incredible graphics, was predictable. I couldn't give it a 4/5 based on its world alone. The cat was out of the bag early. Black Swan was well deserved though. I would put it on the same level as Jacob's Ladder.

Last movie I saw in thearters was Green Lantern, which I thought was good given what it was. Origin stories are always slow and a bit boring. The last movie I actually saw was Battlefield LA which was actually really good.

Green Latern is like all super hero movies (with the exception of The Dark Knight), you have to take them for what they are and not expect anything more of them. Just like transformers. I really enjoyed Battlefield LA, it wasn't as much of a alien invasion movie as it was a war movie. But then again I'm not super critical when it comes to movies.
