I must admit NJ, I was wondering about the trees - sucking up all those 'nutrients' from the ground. There's a story there somewhere.

Tito, that song just happened to be playing while I was writing up the post, and yes - very cool band!

Great thread! I love playing around with photography. Here are a couple of random shots:

      "No Fishing"
      Taken at a local park.

      "Diver Down"
      Taken at the Georgia Aquarium.

Blu - great book cover potential! For both of those. Very nice.

Yeah, I could totally see the one from the park as a book cover.

But, that's an interesting angle of the pic. Who's taking it? I wrote a senior paper for my BA in English called "Stephen King: Young Adult Author" back in 1987. What was the title of your thesis? At least you had his 2003 award for contributions to American Letters and decades of teaching experience for support. I was just a snot-nosed kid who was bucking conventional thought; my ass was hanging out in the wind!
No, this picture was taken just after I had corrected my teacher; it was taken by one of my fellow students.
And you bet I used King's 2003 award for support.
The thing is, though, King is not really all that well-known in my country. No, I should put this differently. He is well-known, but more so in connection with his movie adaptations than with his writing. And most people over here pronounce King's name as Steffen king.

Last week was my little sister's school play, she was the Castle Guard and in the pic you can se her talking to the depressed court jester.

Then on Saturday while it was sunny we fed the ducks and i took a snap of my house from across the pond

Just a couple of images taken during a wander around downtown Los Angeles.

                          It pays to look up!

Very nice! It must have been decades since I was downtown L.A.
I'd never have guessed these were taken there.

Some more pics of the dog Annabel, firstly she's now good enough responding to commands that i can walk her off the lead and yesterday even sat when i told her too when there were other dogs to go and see!

Annabel sat infront of the house which had been freshly cut!

And finally Annabel just being herself and enjoying a belly rub
