    2012 Ronald Kelly title

Just read on Kelly's website about his new historical, horror novel A Dark & Bloody Ground to be published by CD in 2012! Only a year to wait...

I've only read "Hell Hollow" so how does his other work compare to this?

I really like his short fiction. Hell Hollow was pretty good. I thought Kelly lost control of the story during the dream sequences, but the ending was terrific!

Thanks. I thought basically the same thing as you about the dream sequences. The sequences read forced, drawn out, and repetitive to me. Overall the book was enjoyable but I don't think I would read it again.

I enjoyed Hell Hollow although I would agree that the dream sequences were out of place. The stories in Midnight Grinding were terrific!
