@3WeirDskinS Thanks! If you mean the digital files, I simply upload my word file. Although some use other means, such as a program named Calibre. It takes some getting used to, and the system is far from perfect. Recently iTunes made it a little more difficult with their 100% compliance rules. Takes some know-how.

If you mean the cover, I invest in an artist most of the time, unless it is something I feel confident I can achieve on my own. In this case I tired, but failed, so I turned to my regular artist, Philip R. Rogers. You would have to ask him, as he does the artwork. I only put it all together in a layout with the text, using photoshop. I have been a graphic designer for over 20 years, so my confidence level is a little higher in that regard.

The little press logo at the bottom is my handiwork (although I've considered using Philip to give it more a more realistic look). I wanted to create a small press image in case I ever decide to expand things. I've already had a few authors ask me if I would do something like this for them, but I am a little hesitant to start publishing folks. Still, having the tools in place ahead of time never hurts.

Hope that answers some of your questions.

      Hey Ozmo!
I was checking my weekly Duotrope and saw that you've been published again. Super congrats man! What is it and where did it find a home? Way cool! I finally finished my 'love story' novella and I'm jumping right into my latest, a zombie western. I know I
swore I'd never do something so cliche as a zombie tale but this one oozed out of my pores in seven outlined pages start to spooky finish and it seems everyone wants a zombie tale these days. I succumbed to the pressure, I guess.

Glad your words are flowing, Randy, and thanks for noticing. The story is called "In The Shadow of The Equine" and will appear in the Post Mortem Press Lovecraft Themed anthology Torn Realities. The tale is based on a dream I had a long while ago, and I have to admit it wasn't always easy staying true to the Lovecraft voice and concepts. This story has quickly grown on me, though, and inspired at least one other Lovecraftian tale to sub out. Here is a link to the sub, as the call is still open for a while yet...

Congrats Cee Dub-- I wondered where you've been hiding lately. And I wonder where Nik and Draven have been lately? Anyway, super duper and I hope to join you soon on the pages of any anthology. My only witch story is novella length and hard to shop.

Thanks Randy. I've been busy putting the final touches on my book Haven't talked to Draven lately, but he's notorious for disappearing for months at a time. Keep plugging, we'll share something soon

I was interviewed by Nathan Pettigrew over at Solarcide. Excellent in-depth questions, had a great time.

Richard my friend, how do you find the time for all the different things who do and write. You are amazing! I can barely keep up
with my writing four to six a day and the forum and duotrope thing. I might get an hour a day for leisure reading. Then my eyes fry and I'm semi-conscious for the evening. Between the reviews, the reading, the writing, the blogging, and the shopping of
stories to just the right market, you are a dynamo. I wish I had your energy Richard. Congrats on your latest publish, as well. I
had yet another question-- is there another site I might try other than duotrope to shop my little darlings? I have horror novellas as well as short stories that need to find homes.

Thanks so much, Randy. Well, I've found that lots of things get in the way: working, drinking, television, family. So I just cut them all out. Kidding. I'm a little older, 44, so I don't go out as much as I used to, and I do try to read instead of watching TV all the time—even if it's just my lunch hour at work. I think being a bit older I have a built in sense of panic, trying to make this happen sooner than later. If I don't have like FIVE stories circulating, and if I'm not getting at least a rejection a day, I feel like I'm slacking. I sent out some 300 submissions last year, with 20 stories getting taken, and some 140 rejections. An 8% acceptance rate, not too bad. Couldn't do it without Duotrope.

Well, aside from Duotrope (which has some nice listings for horror, such as CD of course, Black Static, Shock Totem, Shimmer, Shroud, BULL SPEC, Apex, Clarkesworld, F&SF, Weird Tales, Mixer Publishing, GUD, Uncanny Valley, etc.) you might try Ralan. I don't use it very much, but I think they handle more of the speculative (F/SF/H). Good luck.

Please help me to spread the word. I've released the second volume of These Old Tales through Kindle Select. This one contains two of my favorite short stories. There is a synopsis of the stories on the Amazon page. Also, if you have time to visit the page please like and tag it. Thanks!
