    Ack! I added a "customer image" and linked my name as an author, but I still have to wait for my publisher to actually remove the L.W. LaSart and make the image the main one. The joys of my first collection LOL

    Thanks Randy! I think a shot of Irish whiskey with the owner may be in line for the start of tonight's shift.

    Okay folks question time. Question one- how does one join or what is the criteria for joining the HWA? Question two- What is a Rashomon? Question three- I know Oxford English makes a Dictionary but do they also make a comprehensive Thesaurus? The one I have doesn't have nearly enough words for my tastes; its a Webster's Collegiate Thesaurus and it sucks.

    @Randy

    1>http://www.horror.org/joinhwa.htm and also http://www.horror.org/memrule.htm

    2>Isn't there a movie by that name?

    3>Now days there is typically one built into your word processor (especially if it is Word), but then also a lot of computers come with them installed, as well. Also, there are several online. However, the old rule of thumb is if you don't know the word, then don't use it, so be careful.

    Hope that all helps.

    Rashomon is a film by Akira Kurosawa, and tells its story from multiple viewpoints, which aren't all reliable. The term is also used to generically refer to any tale told from multiple viewpoints.
