    Looking For

If anyone comes across an inexpensive copy of Folio Societies limited edition of Alice in Wonderland, or has one they'd be willing to part with for a non absurd amount of money let me know. Thanks. It's this version btw.

I know it's quite an obvious answer..the only place i could get was ebay. 1-2 auction shows up once in a blue moon and goes in the range 500-600$ though (at least that's what i paid few years back). It was quite hard for me to get one. Even that Gulliver's travels is quite exquisite if you haven't looked at it.

Yea I've checked eBay. They only ever seem to have the cheaper edition, or there's one person asking an absurd $2,600 for the limited. Which no one should ever pay.

I can't believe the book costs that much. That's really expensive

I don't mean to hijack Dan's thread here. I am looking for a nice inexpensive hardcover of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde -And only that story, no others- I am very tempted by the Amaranthine Books version of DJaMH which costs more. The books on eBay are either old and worn or they have the DJaMH plus more stories.

Literally just seconds...I just searched eBay for “Jekyll Hyde HC” and these and others came up. Hope there’s something in there that’s of interest.

I had decided on a Jekyll Hyde hardcover I saw at Amazon. So far I have not ordered it. Now, I'll have to take a look at all of the ones you found. lol ~Cap

For what it's worth, that Heritage (the slipcased one I include both at eBay and, especially, for $10 at ABE) looks like a great edition. Easton is nice, too, but given the oversized production, slipcase, and glassine wrapper of the Heritage, it sure looks like the nicer edition to me (and it's cheaper to boot!).

I think this is the edition I found at Amazon. I remember the color. I think it's a hardcover and like the chemical pictures on the cover which I think are very appropriate for this book. I almost forgot to mention I have DJaMH, the classic old time radio chapterplay serial. ~Cap

No, that’s a different edition (published by Penguin, not Heritage), but it looks nice as well.
