Holy moley, NJ.....depending on which gleeful panic-mongering weatherman you believe, we may get between 24-40 inches between Saturday night and Monday afternoon. I watch these reports while giving them the Italian salute. These fuckers are too happy about all of this snow.
My wife tells me "Well, at least we don't have to go out this weekend. And we're all off on Monday!"
Umm...I have to work on Monday, and who the fuck do you think is going to shovel, snowblow, salt, roof-rake, etc., if "we" stay in the house all weekend?????
I'm a worrier, so I'm stressing about power outages that will lead to us freezing to death in our sleep, or the feet of snow collapsing our roof onto our sleeping bodies. My wife says that I think of these things because of my "Ghoulish reading choices".
Hope all is well in your world, NJ. I'm terrible about keeping in touch, but your family is always in my thoughts.
You're the best, D!
Remember when you were taking the bus with a busted foot (ankle?) that winter?
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, we had about three inches today, which the weathermen called a "warmup" snowfall for the big event tomorrow..........The HAAAAATE is returning!
We did our grocery shopping tonight after work and school, since they're advising no unnecessary travel this weekend. It looked like a scene from THE MIST. Throngs of people running up and down every aisle, tossing loaves of bread and cartons of milk into their carts, as if they were never going to have a chance to buy food again.
It warmed up, so first we got rain, miserable rain,
Then we got wind, crazy wild, rip shit off your house wind.
Then it got cold. It was bone chilling, overnight zero, fake ass windchill "you gonna die", too cold to bitch cold.
Today it's warming up.
Tomorrow they're calling for rain, miserable rain...
