I am anticipating this one so much because of the strength of the stories in A Long December. I really enjoyed that collection.

Saw it. And thank you for the distraction from the Suntup sale.

    Hahaha, glad to help.

Speaking of which, last time I checked — about a half-hour ago — copies of the Numbered still remain. But look away, Jeff, and keep your eye on the (Strand) prize.

I have been constantly refreshing the order page and praying that it sells out. I want it so bad. But I cannot keep going at $700. I would at $500. So if Paul's reading this and is in the mood to grant a pity credit to a pathetic addict I'll happily take it!

Also, Ron, would you be my Editions Addiction sponsor?

I would, of course, but I’m an admitted self-inflicted victim of chronic relapse. Trust me, I’m not the guy you want as a sponsor…I’m the guy you want to go out with to some sleazy bookstore and get book-drunk with.

Thanks for the positive spin, but Suntup's Rosemary's Baby is the one great book I want. I just need to look at a paycheck stub and remind myself who I am.

You're a great, witty, funny guy, Jeff. And a blast to hang out with I'm sure. You don't need a book nor pay stub to tell you that.

I grabbed a copy of this after seeing your tweet. It's not what I expected, which is 100% no me because it's exactly what the description says.

Regardless, a very neat little book.

Richard Matheson's KOLCHAK SCRIPTS, signed/limited HC from Gauntlet Press:

Whenever I handle this thing, I'm so pleased that I have a copy of it. I mean, Kolchak + Matheson = cool x 1000.

Yeah, it’s a great book. I have a couple-dozen nonfiction books that explore the pulp era, and this is one of my favorites.

I would love to find a book devoted to (that chronicles) the history of the old men's magazines like Wink (the pre-Playboy era) if you know what I mean.
