Hopefully they will be prompt to respond to a direct inquiry.

They responded to my Kickstarter inquiry, Martin....Somehow, my order (And 10 other Kickstarter backers orders) "Slipped through the cracks" and were never sent. They're supposedly on their way now.

Glad they got back to you and are taking care of things.

Last night, I finished reading Shazam! The New Beginning. It was interesting, quirky at times. After I got this four-part mini series, I was surprised to learn there is a deluxe edition of this available.

I haven't chimed in much, because I've basically been reading the same comic for the past month plus. The WEREWOLF BY NIGHT OMNIBUS is massive, and massively wordy. God, could some guys overwrite in the '70s. I did finish a few other monster and monster-related comics, and the reviews for those can be found on my blog, if anyone is interested. https://thecrabbyreviewer.blogspot.com/

I used to post pics of my new comics for the week at Horror Drive-in, and I figured I'd try it here, so folks could see what might be of interest to them that they might not be aware of. Let me know if you guys like this, or hate it, and I'll keep it going or stop, depending on how obnoxious people find it.

These were in my latest shipment:

Please post them. The only comic I have ever gotten into is Locke & Key but I am looking for something else to grab my attention.

Today, I picked up The Lone Ranger Omnibus Vol. 1. from the local comic book shop in Merced, CA. When I told the shop guy what I wanted to order he said the LR Omnibus was from 2013. I'd never seen a total collected edition (Omnibus) for the new Lone Ranger comic book until two months ago. I thought there had to be an omnibus edition somewhere--I just never ran across one. Strangely enough, this LR omnibus was advertised in the back of The Lone Ranger Green Hornet: Champions of Justice trade paperback I just read.

I just read that the legendary Marie Severin has passed away. A sad day for old-school Marvel fans.

A sad day indeed. I met her a couple of times at various conventions and she was as sweet as can be. She also did the coloring on the old EC comics from the 1950s.

Comic book writer Gary Friedrich also passed away yesterday. He is best known for creating Ghost Rider.

This Hulk comic book was written by Gary Friedrich and drawn by Marie Severin and they both died on the same day. :-(

                            This week's haul:

I finally finished the WEREWOLF BY NIGHT OMNIBUS, and I've moved on to VAMPIRE TALES, VOLUME 1, which has a plethora of Marvel 1970's vampire goodness.
