On This, The Day of the Pig

Saw somewhere on the Eye of Sauron (aka Internet) that Cemetery Dance is in the Josh Malerman business and I could not be more excited if that's true.

If we are, nothing has been announced publicly. I will say that if we are I am not aware of it. Though that wouldn't really be anything new.

That would be really cool! I guess we play the waiting game to see if it comes to fruition.

OK GUYS, this book has to happen and be announced so I can buy the hell out of it.

I just started reading UNBURY CAROL and I do not want to stop. I'm doubling down on my call as Malerman being the next King. Malerman has King's mighty talent as a master storyteller. It's the same gift that has allowed me to forgive instances where King filled some pages with clunky dialogue, eye-rolling tantrums, or crash-landing endings. Because that hook keeps pulling and you love spending time in the world that King has created and you grow to plan as many trips there as possible. I feel that same effect with Malerman. I don't know where he's going with UNBURY CAROL. But I know I can't wait to find out.

Maybe I'll be able to define it a little better, but for now--there's just something about a King story that I cannot turn away from. Malerman has that something too.

I will celebrate the Day of the Pig.

Hahahahaha! Yeah, I'm really putting my neck out there. And I'm probably doing more damage to Mr. Malerman than good, seeing as how I'm generating hype. I could very well be the only one who feels this way. I am dying to hear what others think of GOBLIN. Especially in this forum. Even if it's completely opposite of my take.

Agreed. You can't step over it if you have no idea where it is.

I saw a release date of October 2018. Saw it on the internet so it has to be true!

It's my rabid wish that this book will be one of the selections in the forthcoming grab bag.

Has a different grab bag been announced? Or are you referring to the one offered 7-10 days ago? Confused Cap

Within the past month there have been 2 grab bags. A forthcoming book grab bag and a forthcoming ARC grab bag (those aren't the exact names). Not to burst anyone's bubble here, but I do not believe this book is in either.

I can honestly say I don't know what will be in those, so there is a possibility, but given the book hasn't been announced yet I doubt it.
