The mysterious package was definitely my chapbook! It looks amazing! And I got an odd number so extra win. And my number is three to third power, so math nerds rejoice!

And the only one going to Tacoma huh? I'm that much cooler then.

Just keep it clear of the 'Tacoma Aroma'.

        Them's fightin' words!!

(And for the record, the pulp plants responsible for that are no longer here or have been cleaned up so it doesn't smell like it used to. When I was a kid, the three things I remembered about coming over to this area were Rainier, that damn bridge and the smell.)

You can tell I have not been up there in a while. Glad to hear they have cleaned tings up. East of here (Camas) has a smaller pulp mill that has greatly reduced the smell. You can still smell it when you are right near the mill but you used to be able to smell it for miles. I may have to try to get up there soon. I could use some shark viewing time!

You guys gotta come to the Eastside, where the air is fresh and clean (especially since all the Microsoft execs inflate their egos with Teslas and their young, liberal minions drive Nissan Leafs).

I actually spent a week attending a conference on the old Microsoft campus. The campus itself was beautiful but we were always being escorted and never had free time to walk around. On the last night they had a large outdoor BBQ and I took the opportunity to walk around. Once I got away from the group I was greeted by security asking me why I was there.

I have all my chap books on the book shelves with other books. That includes the White Noise editions as well even thought they are in envelopes. I would love for CD to offer some Chap Book sized slipcases similar to what they made for the magazines.

That is a possibility but for me his chap books are just a few of the many I have.
