I had not heard of that title either. The movie 'A Time To Kill' does the book justice but as is often the case the book is better.

I am now listening to a book I have wanted to read for some time. The Mick Garris collection "A Life In Cinema'. I have enjoyed everything I have read from him and this early work has intrigued me. The first two stories did nothing for me except one was narrated by Matt Frewer and he did a good job. The third story almost got me to give up. It reads like a porn story written by a thirteen year old boy. Garris narrates it and he reads it like an uninterested narrator with the voice and cadence of Rick Steves. The book finally starts clicking with the title story and the next one, which is a sequel to the title story. I am now enjoying it but three of the first four stories were a push to get through.

There are a few references so far in Sycamore Row about the events in 'A Time To Kill' that differ from the movie. I'll probably listen to it first then finish up with 'A Time For Mercy'.

Listening to 'The Chill' by Scott Carson.

'The Chill' feels like Michael Koryta meets 'Ghost Story'. Absolutely fantastic so far!

Listening to Danny Trejo's book. I didn't realize he is my mother's age and born the day before my father the same year.

Well. I loved this book. The more I read the more I thought that this was a Michael Koryta book with an added supernatural element. The book also felt too polished to be a first novel. Turns out that Scott Carson is a pen name for Michael Koryta.

Always on the hunt for something to listen to. I'm currently (pun maybe intended?) to The Chill. It's ok so far.

I enjoyed The Chill and would rate it at good. I am at the halfway point of Hidden Pictures and so far would rate it great!

I had to put things aside today to finish 'Hidden Pictures'. This is the best book I have read in a long time and this author has just earned a spot as one I will read anything he writes. His first novel 'The Impossible Fortress' was a brilliant coming of age story. His second novel 'Hidden Pictures' is equally as brilliant but a completely different genre. This one is a classic ghost story with great character development. Both of his published novels are stories I will read repeatedly. I already want to read 'hidden Pictures' again!

Awesome! I'll have to give it a shot next.

Often audiobooks can be listened to while multitasking, with people listening while driving or during exercise — when reading a physical book is impossible.
