Fangoria: Cover to Cover is now shipping! We used a new paper stock for this one and it is a HEAVY book. Plus, the entire thing has been printed in four colors to really show off the details of the covers. Turned out beautifully, in my opinion!

Please Note: the signed editions sold out pre-publication and despite the many emails we’ve received begging us to print more that is NOT going to happen, ha!

Received my copy today. Love the book but have one puzzling question. I purchased the Signed Limited, and indeed that is what I got. Signature sheet is in place and the dust jacket says that it is the Signed Limited edition. The actual cover graphics do not match the signed Limited Edition graphics on the website. Are there multiple covers? Was there a change to the cover? Just wonderin'!

I think we changed the cover design at some point, but I must not have remembered to change it on the site!

For those that have received it, what are your first impressions about the production?

I havent looked at it extensively but I really think it is nice. Large coffee table size with nice full color reproductions of all the covers. I like it alot.

I really like it. I actually like the surprise cover, it is very simple and has a very clean look to me. The red foil stamping on the cloth is elegant looking. Printed on a glossy stock throughout which was a necessity due to the cover reprints. I have only two criticisms and both are minor. The printing is off on a few of the cover images, not terribly so but they are off. There are five signatures on the signature sheet, four of the people have their names printed and one does not. That throws the look off for me. I also find it odd that with only 500 produced they did not number them. With that said I am very happy with it and am looking forward to more collaborative books with Fangoria and Cemetery Dance.

These definitely should have been numbered for that print run. What happened was, the designer sent us the files for the signature sheets and we didn't realize until after everyone had signed that the correct wording hadn't made it from our notes to the sheet. (Designers usually have a template for sig sheets that have their standard limitation wording to be updated if needed, etc. The unnumbered wording was used by mistake in this case. We're actually making some changes to our standard text anyway for new books going into production this year, so we'll be looking at it extra closely to make sure no problems crop up.)

That fifth signature is W.R. Mohalley, who was not originally on our list to sign for some reason. The Lettered Edition sheets were going around separately and no one had signed yet when we were asked if Mohalley could sign, so we scrapped the Lettered Edition sheets and printed new ones and those have lines for everyone. The Limited Edition sheets had already been signed by a few people, unfortunately, so that's how you ended up with a random signer!
