There have been a few signed copies on eBay (I got one). Mostly they've been signed at ball games King has attended. They are very scarce and are priced accordingly.

Thanks for the responses in relation to availability of signed copies.

Will push this back for some time, other signed books available in my current price range.

On my initial attempt, I did not like the prologue, and I thought the letter to Hodges was hokey. After that I gave up.

However, yesterday I decided to give it another try, this time taking notes and dissecting it, and I'm glad I did. Once I got past those two things mentioned above, the story really took off. Also glad it's not a "whodunit" but rather a "we know who did it; now how will it play out?" And ol' Steve seems to have gone easy on the bloat, which I also appreciate. About halfway through; should finish it up tomorrow.

Dan is up to his neck in Mr. Mercedes slipcases now:

We selected a slightly reflective and textured material for the case and then we used a metallic sliver foil for the hot foil stamping to mimic the embossing on the dust jacket, so this one is really tough for an amateur like me to photograph well, but I think our collectors will be very pleased when they see it in person:
