Just finished this yesterday, and wow, what a phenomenal book. The last story, THE HOUSE ON ABIGAIL LANE, was the most riveting, fascinating haunted house story that I've ever read. Excellent stuff.

I wish these were available digitally.....The print price always make me pass, no matter how tempted I may be. I would love to be able to read the whole series on my tablet, though.....hint hint!

Well, thanks to this thread, I was able to locate my copies of PATCHWORK and BONE HARVEST...so they'll be read out of order, but my collector's OCD will be satisfied. I've got SLICES around here...

I have the rest, somewhere amongst the stacks and stacks of unread books. It does function well as a standalone, although a few spots made me wonder if I had missed another story along the way....

I wish I knew that this was a series before I started reading HARVEST MOON. Still enjoying it, though.

I've been a fan of the late Gene Colan's artwork since I was a kid...practically since I was born. I remember having comics that he illustrated as a part of the group of books that my father bought...

I need complete silence to read a novel, but with comics, a good soundtrack makes it seem more cinematic. I have a few thousand movie scores that I rotate through while I read, and it really enhances...

I listen to music while I read comics, so I'm currently listening to the season five score from GAME OF THRONES while I read the EX MACHINA OMNIBUS. Doesn't seem like a good fit, but it's working out...

Ugh. By the time I found out THE SPECIAL even existed, it was sold out. Hopefully, it'll hit digital soon
