I'll just have to forget when I read it. No worries. :)
Stephenson's "Reamde" (but given the coloring in the title, I still say it's actually titled "read me").
Finished "Snowcrash" by same today. Good, but the ending could have been a bit better.
Just finished The Prophet by Koryta. I enjoyed it. Cliche, but it was a page turner.
Nemesis: The Death of Timmy Quinn was exactlty as advertised--epic. A great conclusion to a great series. A little confusion still exists about some events, but I'll sort it out after thinking about it some more. A distressing note: Catherine (a major caracter in the resolution of the drama) is referred to twice on page 186 as Caroline. How does something like that happen? I suppose a misspelling or misuse of a word or two I can understand, but something like that is bizarre to me. Oh well. Still an outstanding 5th vol to the TQ series.
I should start another good reads win, but I have too many books backing up my TBR, so The Lords of Salem by Rob Zombie and B. K. Evensen will be up next.
Currently reading: Three Supernatural Classics by Algernon Blackwood
Onto The Exorcist 40th Anniversary Edition. I've never read it before, so I'll be able to cross a classic of my TBR list.
I'm currently mowing through Coldbrook by Tim Lebbon, my first zombie novel (hard to avoid them and vampires these days). I thought I'd save my Z-cherry for an author I've been meaning to read for a while. It's a long 'un but, so far, a good 'un.
I actually didn't get any reading in this weekend..... last weekend for the kids I coach in hockey, plus the usual hustle and bustle of everyday life.... :(
I am working my way through Oblivion and I have to say, I am really enjoying this. Good Kobo read! The chapters are short, which helps it move along, plus the story itself is a quick pace. My first book by Bonansinga too.
Half way through Christine. Second time reading, still love it after 30 years.
Just picked up Dean Koontz's Watchers and Stephen King's Carrie. I'll pick one of the two up to read later today, I'm leaning towards Carrie though. I haven't read either yet.
I'd go with Carrie. I was greatly disappointed in Watchers--all surface fluff and no substance.
Watchers is one Koontz I actually want to read, it is the last book in a 3-book hardcover I was given. I read the first 2, but not Watchers for some reason.
I just read The Postman, by David Brin. I was clearing out some bookshelves for my hardcovers and cam across it. I bought it back in January 1987, and can't remember when i last read it. It's still a good read after all these years, although it's funny to read it now in 2013 and find that the book ends in 2012. How time flies!
Almost done with The Traveling Vampire Show by Richard Laymon.
I really want to get my hands on that Laymon. I haven't read anything of his yet, but that is one that is at the top of my list to acquire and read soon.
