Actually it's clearing up some conflicting ip address situation. All part of the plan folks. So don't worry about group 2, I told the author of the story to inform his / her friends to make a post from their respective ip addresses, as the accounts there where a lot of accounts registered at the same one. Don't worry about it, it is all on my instruction.

the good thing, guys is that while a weak story or two MAY get through to the final 10 on votes, recruited or otherwise, once we get to those final 10 there will be no recruitment available, so the best stories will certainly get the attention they deserve, in other words, the cream will rise to the top - i'm sure that CD will work out the kinks for next time, but they definitely got a lot of people to join these forums and speak up, really build the community here, which was the goal (or one goal, anyway) - all good

@brianfreeman - thanks for those encouraging words, i know that all of us here would love to be in Cemetery Dance magazine or anything else that CD puts out

@craigwallwork - i feel the same way too, sick for a number of reasons, every time i log in

Could be either of these. I just thought it looked rather odd.

Congrats all around.
I'm doing the same thing. Right now I'm about two thirds done and confident that I'll have reached the end by the deadline.

This two week period is torture, sure, but whatever doesn't kill us... right? And I have to say I'm really stoked that some folks made my story their choice, regardless of the outcome. Whoever you are - thanks. It means a heck of a lot.

End of summer, if all goes well with the slipcase maker -- no forms required!

You know, I was so determined to read all the stories, and I'm flagging so terribly! Alas, I think the best route for me is going to have to be reading the final leaders plus the stories from frequent forum posters, especially because the latter folks (many of whom are in the former group) are the ones who seem like they want to trade feedback. I still feel guilty not reading and voting on all the stories, but at least I don't feel too bad skipping entries posted by someone who logged on once, dropped off their story, and then never came back.

We talked about this fall. Looking at some cool software to handle it all online. But we still have too much stockpiled from the last time. Rich isn't allowed to buy as much next time!
