Almost received the book today except they sent me the wrong book. Emailed and hopefully something can be worked out. My guess is that someone else has my book so I'm not sure this will be resolved well.

I was so excited to add a Rick Hautala lettered.

The lettered I did receive I have no interest in.

I haven’t been around much the last few months as I spent the last part of August following Dead and Company around the Northeast. It was something I have wanted to do since they were the Grateful Dead but didn’t have the money to do. Always been a fan and I did get to see them with Jerry 6 times. Shows were amazing this tour. John Mayer is an incredible guitarist . It was an expensive few weeks but worth it. I did enjoy getting to sleep in my own bed one night when they played Saratoga and did the second best version of Bird Song I’ve ever heard. Since then I’ve been working a ton of hours because both my jobs are very short staffed. It was a great way to end the Summer.

    Yep. LOL.

It was a most welcome surprise. Plus I scored a take home leg quarter which should make a very good soup, cream dish, gumbo, or something.

I believe Thanksgiving is the only day you can eat 16oz of food but gain 6lb's.

    oh, time for pie.

My Thanksgiving confession is that I really don't care all that much for Turkey. More of a beef and pork guy. Love sweet potatoes though. Cornbread stuffing is awesome if done right.

    Happy T-Day, all!

That could be a valid point. I have actually never made it as a stuffing, I always make it as a dressing. I always use a sweet cornbread, fresh herbs and toasted pecans so while it is definitely a savory dish it has a sweetness to it.

I have had several people tell me that the rotisserie turkey is the best they have ever had. I am actually considering buying a small turkey and cooking it Saturday.

    Have a wonderful day!

I cook the Turkey on the grill with the rotisserie and as long as you get it off at the right time and let it rest it is fantastic. I am not a fan of Sweet Potatoes and like Oysters even less. Cornbread stuffing should not be dry though, someone is doing something wrong there.

    Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
