    October 2022 - How many?

    Finished 5 in October.

    1. The Howling Terror & Other Lovecraftian Horror Stories by Tony Richards is a collection of five short stories to novella length pieces. Of the five, my favorites were ‘The Darkness in the Harbor’ & ‘The Orphanage at Trellaree’, both of which embodied Lovecraft’s trademark aquatic horror theme. 4 / 5

    2. The Omen by David Seltzer was the novelization of the author’s own screenplay of the classic 70’s horror movie. Brought up a lot reminiscence to see the original film again. 5 / 5

    3. 13 Haunted Houses ed. by Curtis Lawson & Joe Morey - good stories by James Chamber, Douglas Wynne, Sara Tantlinger, Tony Richards, & Philip Fracassi. 3.5 / 5

    4. Rosemary’s Baby by Ira Levin. Probably 20 years since I first RB. Still a classic. Enjoyed it as much of not more the second time around. 5 / 5

    5. My Lady of Plagues by Elana Gomel. For the most part, I enjoyed these gothic fairy tales. Fans of Angela Slatter will probably enjoy Gomel’s work. 3.5 / 5
