I also enjoy Russel Dickerson's work. I haven't (personally) seen many zombies from him but I'm sure he would do a great job.

New to the forums but by no means new to CD. I'd like to suggest my good pal Tim Vigil. Here are a few of his pieces that I think will give you a good cross sample of his work. He is most well known for his comic work on "Faust: Love of the Damned" and "Gothic Nights" but as these pieces show he has progressed more towards illustrative work.

        Medusa

        Music of Madness

The CryptFeaturing the Countess Ravenous from his book "Gothic Nights"

        Rise of Cthulhu

Tim has mad painting skills as well, sorry about the flash reflection on the right

        Digital coloring

Wow, I like! The black and white ones have a Chadbourne feel to them! Nice!

THose are beautiful. The bottom one was stunning.

I do like the work of Mike Bohatch, but I'm not sure if he's stopped working in that arena to concentrate on a 'day job' as his old site is no longer there, and redirects to something else

This has been up for a while...Are we going to get an update any time soon? The book, The artist you chose, or one(s) you have at least approached about it?

We'll probably go out to an artist this month, but since we won't be announcing the book until the fall, that'll probably be all we say for a while.

Agree with Teri! At least let us know the artist, we promise we won't search to see what he/she is currently working on if you tell us.

Well at the least can you say if "we" did help?! Further are you interested/reaching out to someone listed in this thread? You've got to give us a little something to think about.

We haven't picked an artist yet, so there isn't much to say yet.
