Attack from the 80's is an 80's themed anthology. A couple of reprints but most appear to be original to this edition. It has a very strong cast of authors. Has stories by Joe R. Lansdale, John Skipp, Grady Hendrix, Jeff Strand and many others. Really have high hopes, time will tell if they are fulfilled.

    Hidden Pictures by Jason Rekulak:
A very original ghost story and my best new read of 2022 so far.
I am purposely only showing a few of the interior illustrations because they are key to telling the story.

My thoughts on the set. I know that the slipcase sizing was an error, but I am happy that it happened as I prefer the books to be shelved with Brodart. Having a different cover artist for watch book in the set concerned me. I thought that they may look good individually but then not have the continuity of a set. Fortunately, the artists all have a similar comic style, and they look great together. When CD announced that they had added interior art to each volume I just assumed that the art would be from the cover artists. Turns out it was a different artist, and the interior art added another level of continuity with the books. The use of the weather radar image throughout, especially with the slight variations on the chapter breaks was simply brilliant. I absolutely love this set!

I actually have not seen alot of photos of this one so I will warn you that I am going a little overboard.

The incorrect fit of the slipcases has been mentioned elsewhere on the board. I actually like the fact that I was able to add Brodart to all four books.

With Brodart. I little tight but not horrible:

    Books without dustjackets:

All four books have the same bright red end papers:

Not a perfect fit but much better than paying for custom cases.
