Mike, I may have two copies of this paperback (which is a pb reprint of the aforementioned Dark Harvest collection)...it's a great starter if you've never read Beaumont (is that correct?...I'm surprised), and it's yours free if I confirm that I have two copies...I'm always excited to spread the word of Beaumont. In the back of mind, I'm thinking I *may* have sold it or already given it away, but I'm not sure on that...it's 50/50. Let me check, and I'll let you know later today.

I only know of his work from The Twilight Zone, but I don't recall there being any clowns in "The Howling Man" episode.

No, there isn't...it's presumably from another story in the collection (either that, or just some generalized, nonsensical image), but it's been so long since I've read this one that I couldn't tell you which one.
