Yes, the gift edition has a white slipcase, the limited has a blue traycase, and the lettered has the yellow/gold traycase.

The lettered case is a pale yellow, same thing with the cloth on the book.

The special edition of The Shining that I got, I believe it is the Gift Edition (Not positive), has a white slipcase. Did the different editions come with different color slipcases?

Wow that's going for a lot. Just an FYI though, you may want to take a look at your camera settings. That book is not that yellow.

I actually like the yellow on the exterior of the case, whether it's meant to be like that or not, the inside of the case strikes me as a bit bright though. The cloth boards look outstanding though. Like it's spun with golden thread. I prefer the font on the lettered case and GE case to the one for the AE.

Glad to hear it is not that yellow. I remember looking at the listing and wondering why they went with that color for the case and feeling very happy my white AE.
