    Brian James Freeman's Patreon

I believe this project is completely separate from CD/LR and not an imprint. If it is, I apologize.

Just wanted to show my support for Brian by starting this thread and encourage others to join his Patreon campaign. I'm a big fan of Brian's work and foresee great things for him stemming from this. First chap from the press. Best of luck, Brian!

I'm already a Level 5 Supporter. I joined as soon as it was announced. I got number 27 of the chapbook. I've become a big fan of Patreon and support six people.

Sorry I missed this thread before! You are correct, LetterPress Publications is my own little press for publishing items for my supporters on Patreon, although there might be something else in the works for 2019 that I'm really excited about. We will see!

Hope it comes to be, Brian! I'll continue to post the things I get through Patreon if that's cool.

P.S. Hope the back is feeling better.

Opened my front door this morning for a quick run to the store and was surprised to see a package sitting on the mat. I had forgotten that Mr. Freeman was sending out a bonus for his Patreon subscribers this month. Very pleased to receive a signed paperback gift. As it is a book I already have a signed limited of I will be gifting this one to my niece, I believe she will enjoy the story. Thank you Brian!

In case anyone has missed the emails, one of projects Iíve been working on for my Patreon supporters is a serialized novel that will run for most of 2019.

Iíll be posting one chapter each week from The Echo of Memory, which is a heavily revised version of my first published novel. In 2004, the book was published as Black Fire by James Kidman. There was a paperback edition from Leisure and a signed Limited Edition hardcover from Cemetery Dance Publications, but Iím restoring my preferred title and my real name for all future editions.

Iíll be working through the revisions as I post the chapters, but the first 100 pages have already seen a ton of fine tuning and some serious excising of unnecessary material.

Yep, this is one of those very rare ďAuthorís Preferred EditionsĒ where stuff is being CUT out instead of crammed back in, and you wonít miss the things Iím editing out. They were the product of a first novelistís insecurities about readers and the publishing world in general. This is a book where ďless is moreĒ should have been the mantra.
