You ought to try cruising it. I spent hours last night on it--I had to stop every now and then, my whole body ached from laughing so hard.

Heh, books aren't actually here yet. But I have to tell you, sorting through that pile to pull out all the non-US orders and the multiples was a serious project yesterday. Took most of the day...Originally posted by srboone View PostBest get moving on it, Dan. Miles to go before YOU sleep...

This pile of orders waiting for the books to get here is kinda intimidating. For refrence it's sitting next to the approval copy of Century's best Vol 1.

There's also a thread here:Originally posted by theenormityofitall View PostAnd I don't know where to put this so I'll just put it here, even though there may be a thread about it: I don't see any information on the 40th Anniversiary of The Exorcist I bought sometime ago from CD on the Production Page. Anyone know the status of that one?

The retail price would have to go up by $18 to $22 per book to do that. If we were sure 750 people would buy Kin at $60, or Pure at $80, we would gladly issue the books with slipcases, but our experience has shown that our retail prices, in this economy, are pretty much going to stay where they are and can't be raised without driving away a lot of customers.Originally posted by theenormityofitall View PostI still want these even the non-signed ones but I have to have slipcases. Brian or Dan, is CD have any plans to produce slipcases for even the "regular" limiteds of books anytime soon or are those days over? I really wish publishers would start doing that again!!! I really don't like limited editions without a slipcase, I don't at all.

I guess not. I'll wait to see the books before I make a decision. I just keep looking at that hideous green slipcase from subterranean press (sp is no longer a proper noun in my lexicon anymore) that was too tight for Zodiac. Just thinking about it puts me in a foul mood.Originally posted by Dan Hocker View PostI can if you like. It's not too snugly, it's just snugly enough that you probably couldn't put on of those DJ covers on it and still put it in the case.
