The Lettered Edition sold out in 47 minutes. I know it isn't signed by SK, but I think the collectors who took a chance on it will be very pleased when the see the final production values. It'll be a beautiful edition. Thank you!

Yeah, I overreacted in my previous post, I just expected something signed by King.

Teri, you can find the 1980 paperback of The Stand easily enough - http://www.alibris.com/search/books/...959?matches=37

I've read the original more times than i can remember, and still prefer it to the uncut version.

Congrats CD, really happy for you. I have to wonder, can we see the Viking years too? Haha

I already have the unsigned limited edition of Carrie on pre-order from PS Publishing, so there was no point in jumping on this announcement.

How about the Putnam books? I think there's only a couple, right? Skeleton Crew and Tommyknockers? I know a lot of people don't like Tommyknockers but I enjoyed it. SC already has an awesome limited edition but that shouldn't deter them from making another in this series.

Our edition will be fairly different in terms of production values and some of the special features, but I understand that take on things.

What was the other web site you had to coordinate with to make this announcement?

Hey Brian and Dan, as someone who is bouncing back and forth between gift and artist edition. Any details on differences outside of signature sheet, limitation, and traycase?

Ie: is the dust jacket or physical book the same besides the binding?

It says that there will be a different dust jacket for the Artist Edition.

Oh crap I missed that. Well great.. because I like the one above which is the gift right? Did you go for it Joe? Those artist traycases might look sick on the shelf.

I went for the artist edition...what the hell. I'm glad I held off on ordering the new Robert McCammon book, because I'll gladly skip it and get Carrie instead.

Will the future editions in this 6 book set be priced the same as Carrie? I would probably jump on Night Shift and quite possibly Salem's Lot, but they are quite a lot bigger than Carrie so they might cost more?
